Dancing in the street: All the best photos from the 42nd annual Adams Avenue Street Fair
Epic doesnβt even begin to describe this past weekend on Adams Avenue.
The 42nd annual Adams Avenue Street Fair was one big love letter to San Diego. We blocked off ten blocks of asphalt to host 75 bands across seven stages. More than 300 vendors joined the party to sell their wares and feed the city with delicious food. The icing on the cake? We hosted a massive carnival that made kids from all around the region jump for joy.
This celebration is truly something special for San Diego, and itβs brought to life by the Adams Avenue Business Association, with the help of a small army of committed festival staff, volunteers, board members and community partners.
Weβve had a front-row seat to the planning of this yearβs event, as weβve helped connect the AABA with partners who help underwrite the festivities and share their stories with San Diego at the event.
A very special thanks to the team at San Diego Community Power, who hosted this yearβs βCool Zone,β where festivalgoers could be seen rebooting and recharging all weekend. And a warm welcome to our new friends at Walkabout, who held a little shindig of their own in the Walkabout Lounge, right across from the very busy Walkabout Groove Stage.
The AABA isnβt done yet! This year, weβll host a Halloween Haunt, the Adams Avenue Spirit Stroll, and, of course, our special holiday party outside the Kensington Library complete with a welcome from Santa Claus and fresh snow beneath the palm trees.
